The North Shore of Oahu is one of the most incredible places in the world. The amount of surf breaks in such a small radius is rediculous. You can literally just walk down the beach for miles and run into new breaks the whole way. Some popular surf breaks on the North Shore that you may have heard of are Bonzai Pipeline, Waimea Bay, Sunset Beach, Haleiwa Beach Park, Vland, Ehukai, Rocky Point, Back Door, Off the Wall and they are all amazing in there own unique way. The attitude on the North Shore is very low key and mellow. As long as you respect the Locals and don't give them attitude or drop in on them you will be fine. It is all about respect. If you are littering or hogging waves they won't put up with that. Basically the North Shore is very fair. If you deserve to get a beating you will. If you are respectful and always be friendly to everyone you will have the time of your life. Oahu is one of the best Islands to live on because you have both serinity on the North Shore and you have the Nightlife and big city life on the South Shore in Honolulu and Waikiki. Both fun when your in that certain mood. People often ask me if I get Island fever. The truth is no. I do get the urge to travel sometimes but thats how I am where ever I live. I always have the need to explore new things and broaden the horrizon to bigger and better things for my future. If you live life thinking you cannot go somewhere or cannot afford to do something you will never be able to. Your thoughts are just a preview on what is to come in life so always concentrate on the good things in your life and think positive and they will come to you. I encourage everyone to dream big. Go everywhere you want to go. Explore the world and meet new people and have exciting new experiences. Life is measure by memories. You can either have an amazing life or a boring average one. Its up to you.
